Introduction

The word leisure could be a very difficult someone to define. What elements of a hobby make this leisure? What elements of an activity make it work? There are many theories that try to explain exactly what a single considers to become leisure and not an obligation or possibly a chore. Once studying enjoyment it shortly becomes evident that each specific has their very own, unique definition of leisure (Hopp). Understanding how free-time is spent will help in understanding that leisure is a personal phenomenon. Taking a look at trends and patterns of leisure pertaining to essential actions in our daily lives may be the first step in discovering what constitutes each of our leisure. Differentiating what is deemed leisure and what is regarded as essential activity can be challenging. Looking at moods, what/who motivates certain amusement choices and exactly how they change at diverse times of 12 months or using a different work schedule helps separate leisure and...
