Construction of breakwater consists of wide range of activities that need transport of assets from wide range of sources. Furthermore, since most of the materials required for construction need to be carried for the site of construction simply by ships and barges, it will not be economical to hold materials as and when required as with land constructions. So it is required to plan activities in a way that will minimize the number of cycles required for barges, which further are limited by their carrying potential and availableness. At the same time, the duration required for project finalization gets improved if the volume of barges applied are decreased, which even more may boost overhead costs and liquidated injuries, if appropriate. Also there are plenty of other specialized and development issues which in turn influence the expense of construction. In this task suitable ruse techniques are accustomed to model the development of a breakwater and record the questions in the construction methods. Optimization is done by making use of software like EZstrobe designed to use Monte Carlo simulation to simulate the activities and recommend improvements. Using Heuristic methods and Hereditary algorithm to travel to improvements is recommended.
