1 . When looking at the Expectancy Theory I are not sure that I would say that this manner is motivating to staff. From the reading and the method that I recognized Expectancy Theory it seems that workers will work hard or generate more if they are expecting an incentive for doing this. Does this genuinely motivate personnel? According to the publication Expectancy Theory has proved to have large levels of importance, validity and usefulness however , I would discover this theory as if she is not as successful. When an employee works hard and expects something in return after that does not obtain anything in substitution for his hard work it will suppress the employee which may lead to reduce morale and low creation. I can't say that Collateral Theory can be any better mainly because when you have personnel that are contending against the other person it will take away from the camaraderie and may cause stress amongst them. When an staff is spending so much time and doing work longer hours buts gets a smaller increase than the worker that is not adding the extra efforts it will also decrease morale and could possibly impede production. I can't go along with either of those theories becoming more effective that the other since both can result in disappointment for employees in the appraisals process.

2 . Though Equity Theory seems to make an effort to achieve a reasonable balance among an employee's inputs and an employee's outputs this kind of balance may not always be accomplished. Finding this fair harmony could guarantee a strong and productive romance between the firm and the worker which will in turn have got employees which might be content and motivated even so; if personnel do not receive the rewards that they feel they have to receive it will lead to adverse reactions just like low inspiration, low morale, and possibly an increased turn-over since unhappy workers will look for a job anywhere else.
